The Traitors has always been a game of chance because strategy can only get the Faithfuls and the Traitors so far, and anyone can be banished or murdered when they least expect it.
Mostly, The Traitors Season 3 has been disappointing because the number of delusional things spreading through the castle gets crazier with each episode.
Thankfully, Rob’s demise on The Traitors Season 3 Episode 7 marked a significant turning point, giving me hope the series can bounce back.

Rob has a proven track record of winning competitive game shows, so it’s infuriating that Ciara and Chrishell continually tried to defend him.
If anything, I hope it comes back to bite them because I’m logical, and he’s the first person I’d go after if I was in their position.

A Reality TV star of Rob’s caliber wouldn’t agree to do this show unless he knew he was being brought on as a Traitor because everyone should have been pointing the finger at him.
Rob Is Too Good At These Games
While Rob admirably tried to change the script and frame Britney, the evidence was spilling out against him from all directions.
He wasn’t as aggressive in his approach as he was with Wes’ elimination on The Traitors Season 3 Episode 6, but it was glaringly evident that he was one of the bad guys, and he would have needed quite the hail mary to save his life in the game.

A more intelligent approach would have been to stick the knife in and take down Danielle. He would have easily swayed Carolyn to do the same because Danielle is pretty bad at this game.
Danielle’s reaction to Derrick’s murder could have easily been painted as her being upset that she killed a fellow Big Brother alum. I mean, damn. Her nerves are getting the best of her, and I hate to say it, but she’s just not cut out for this game.
She’s been so erratic that I thought she was about to write Britney’s name to be banished, but in hindsight, I’d like to think that was a tactic so that Rob didn’t throw heat her way at the round table.
Danielle must come back down to earth, look back on her actions, and try to carve out bonds with the remaining players because she must be a big target.

I especially liked how she told Carolyn she was her number one now. Carolyn is subdued in the rest of the scenes, but her B.S. filter comes out to play when she’s in the Turret.
If she and Danielle put their differences aside and think more strategically, they could run away with this game. Still, if the last few episodes are any indication, they’ll be back to their regularly scheduled backstabbing when they get the chance.
Working together gives them much to gain, but the trust is gone now. There’s no rebuilding it, and they must coexist for another couple of episodes until their numbers drop to the point where they can afford to get rid of one another.
The Rest of The Traitors Season 3 Could Be Unpredictable

The best part of Rob’s exit is that the season can now go in a different direction. It will all come down to who gets murdered in the face-to-face execution planned for The Traitors Season 3 Episode 8.
My best guess here is that Dolores will go. She’s electric on The Real Housewives of New Jersey and has done a stand-up job of staying in the shadows throughout her stint on The Traitors.
Her demise would cause the most confusion because no one would expect it. That said, Carolyn and Danielle would earn a lot of praise from fans if they took out Tom.
Tom has lasted longer than he probably thought possible, given that everyone feels a certain way about him following Scandoval.

The best part of keeping him in the game is that he’s on a high because he spearheaded the arguments to take out Rob, so he’ll be basking in the glory of him being right for once.
That could manifest into him going on a delusional rampage and turning on an ally. I would not be shocked if he turned the tables on Dylan at the next round table.
Tom is good for the chaotic energy at the round tables, but The Traitors Season 3 needs some time to breathe, with accusations more rooted in reality.
Oops, Britney Is Going To Do It Again

Britney may have evaded banishment, but I doubt she’s out of the woods yet. Derrick’s parting words about Britney and Rob being Traitors will probably be brought back up, and she’ll have to defend herself again.
Britney is safe from the face-to-face murder, but she won’t be safe from the next round table. Would Danielle throw away their newfound friendship for the sake of safety? I don’t even think Danielle knows the answer to that question.
“Til Death Do Us Part” will go down as the biggest heel turn in Traitors’ history, but I need another episode or two to establish whether the show is moving in a compelling direction.
What are your thoughts on the time running out on Rob? Do you think he played his hand too soon? What’s your take on Danielle’s actions? Do you think Carolyn will keep her around for a bit longer?
