The Hunting Party Season 1 Episode 9 Spoilers: The Team Deals With The Most Sadistic Killer Yet

All serial killers are scary, but next week’s serial killer on The Hunting Party is the sadistic one.

The spoilers for The Hunting Party Season 1 Episode 9 tease that it’s the scariest episode of the season when a sadistic serial killer enjoys watching his victims suffer.

This will likely trigger many team members since both Bex and Hassani have daughters.

The Hunting Party Season 1 Episode 8 ended on many cliffhangers, so this episode will also probably address how Dr. Dulles was connected to Shane and what Oliver’s contact knew about the breach at the Silos.

Tom Beecher Gets Pleasure From Torturing His Victims and Their Families

Tom Beecher enjoys tormenting young women and making his victims and their families feel helpless.

He tends to choose victims who love their parents because that would crush them more as he taunts them with his evil plans for their daughter.

While some of his sadistic plans include physical pain, Tom Beecher gets off on making his victims feel afraid and causing psychological pain.

That’s even more dangerous because you can see blood or bruises, but sadists can take psychological terror much further and involve more victims.

Be afraid because the showrunners and Melissa Roxburgh called “Tom Beecher” the scariest episode and the hardest to work on.

Jennifer Morales Goes Into the Field For the First Time on The Hunting Party Season 1 Episode 9

Jennifer Morales (Sara Garcia) is an Army vet and science geek who knows how to research almost anything.

She’s proved her worth on base, but she’s not that much older than these victims, and this case rattles her.

Viewers will finally see how fierce Morales is in action. She wants to prove to Bex that she’s focused and capable.

We wish we could have seen Morales in the field earlier in the season, but we’re excited to see Morales join the others to take down this monster.

This Case Hits The Entire Team Hard, Especially One of Their Own Who Ends Up in Danger

This will be a rough case and hit each team member in the gut. It’s bound to bring up some issues for Bex, especially as Tom Beecher taunts her about never finding the victim.

It’s almost as if he’s seen Bex before, and that could trigger her or Oliver since Sam might only be a few years younger than these victims.

While Oliver seems to have improved his anger management skills, could a monster like this trigger him?

If he doesn’t trigger Oliver, Tom Beecher could also trigger Hassani since he also has children, including a daughter.

There is nothing worse than informing parents that a psychopath relishes in torturing their child.

This must have affected Hassani if they even tell the parents immediately because he usually wants to keep things buttoned up.

The team strives to bring him to justice when he harms one of their own.

We can’t share too much, but you’ll see a different side to this team.

It’s similar to when Dr. Malak kidnapped Bex; only team dynamics are much stronger now.

Shane Learns More About His History With Dr. Dulles

Sarah Dulles found several therapy sessions with her father and Shane; they are likely to view some of them, looking for clues.

While this mystery interests me the most, it’s also the one that could potentially open a dangerous can of worms.

Shane has no idea who his birth parents were or why his adoptive parents agreed to let Dr. Dulles treat him.

Could he be related to a serial killer, or did Shane exhibit tendencies that scared his parents and they thought Dr. Dulles could cure him?

Shane is often obsessed with wondering where evil tendencies come from, and now the concern for nature versus nurture makes more sense in his case.

It’s also possible that Dr. Dulles was more diabolical than his daughter or Shane knew, and what they learn will shock both of them.

The only good thing is that they have grown closer and almost seem to have formed a sibling-like connection. Shane needs family.

Oliver Digs For Information, But Will That Put Him and the Team in Danger?

Oliver, Bex, and Hassani want more information about Whitmore Industries and the drugs that were given to some of these prisoners.

Oliver knows the most people, but that could prove dangerous since we saw his military contact killed Denise Glenn because she knew too much.

His military contact hasn’t been thrilled with Bex and Hassani snooping, and Oliver has now joined their team.

Depending on what she knows about the experiments and her loyalty, that could put them all in more danger or finally endear her to the cause.

Her loyalty is very finicky and only serves the cause, so Oliver and his team may be hunting for answers until The Hunting Party Season 1 finale.

Over to you, The Hunting Party Fanatics. Which team member will end up in danger on “Tom Beecher”?

What will Shane learn about his history with Dr. Dulles?

We would love to hear your thoughts, so please share them with us below.

The Hunting Party airs at 10/9c on Mondays on NBC and Peacock the following day.
